LUMS Literary Society (LLS) is one of the largest and most valued societies within the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), catering to approximately 70% of the student body—which currently amounts to an approximate of 5000 students. Since its inception, the team of LLS has put its endless efforts into the appreciation and recognition of the literary masterpieces of students. LLS, through its events, workshops, and random activities, promotes literary and cultural aspects of the region. We provide a unique platform for the students to identify and express their hidden abilities. Since 2007, LLS has expanded its range to areas beyond the walls of LUMS, with an aim to provide an equal opportunity to all aspirants. While LLS aims to hone their literary skills and foster clearer thinking and writing, but it also aims to foster an appreciation for literary artifacts. It envisions a society where literary endeavors are not regarded as futile, merely due to the ascendance of an appreciation for more ‘employable’ alternates. It aims to rejuvenate intellectual capital that increasingly suffers from such an attitude and revitalize an appreciation of literary ventures.
