Obien Mayo is a shining star on the horizon of the literary world who has won the hearts of readers with his words. His first book is ‘Death on Birth’, which reflects the ups and downs of our society. After this book, he did not stop his literary journey but continued to write from time to time, and that is why today I am writing my views for his new book. This book contains acrostics, and the imagination of the writer can be judged by the fact that each line of the poem has its own distinct identity. Yes, he has made the book a subject that everyone will love to read. In this book, there are seasons, there is love, there is spirituality, there is friendship and there are attitudes towards life. This book is connected with nature and has a unique taste. There is the imprint of God in all the scenes. The other side of it may be the mother whose fragrant spirit enchants the universe which is of course an indication of the author's breadth of thought that he has associated the feeling of God and mother wonderfully. I am quoting a few lines from the book.

“Warm and cold your hands are
Igniting my emotions
Nesting my soul
Declaring me alive.”

The author beautifully describes the feeling that fills the windows of his soul with light. This feeling can be of the mother's tender touch and also of the closeness of God who is devoting her soul's inner peace.

The author asks the readers lightly, "Do you know the power of a tear which is a drop of salty water?"

The author writes that his soul is free which dances under the open sky with the seasons, clouds, and the moon.

Anyone who wants to enjoy the seasons and the love together will read it.

This book is more than just a poetry book. It's filled with meaning and raw emotion. It feature poems about hope, empowerment, and strength. The first few poems open the book with a bang. I reread them again and again, and everytime I read it, I found something new.

The poetry style is accessible. If you're not a poetry reader, this'll be a good start for you. There are no big, fancy words and metaphors impossible to decode. It's a perfect combination of simplicity and complexity.

Reading the poems, I could sense how much heart and effort was put into them. I could feel emotion. It was truly a beautiful experience.

And the illustrations were to die for. Another example of how a simple and modest illustration can express loads.
