The theoretical perspective that inspired I Am We is by Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze. Some words and phrases have been directly quoted from their book “A Thousand Plateaus.” Further, Bulleh Shah, Toni Morrison, Byron and Sense8 were also sourced for inspiration and awareness. The narrative is Fictional and any resemblance to any creature living or dead is purely incidental. The Structure is Meta. The Author does not mean to Criticize but bring awareness among young readers and uninformed public. The overall effort is purely perspective based. Subjectivity is Objective.

To whom this concerns,
Let me start with this: I usually do not leave reviews or comment on anyone's book because it is unbecoming and honestly, very hurtful to the writer, especially a beginner novice. But on the rare occasion i do, it is for a reason.

And the reason is, please do not waste your precious money on this book. I'll give you three reasons and then i will let you decide:

1. The plotting is (not to be rude but) trash. To be honest, it feels like this person does not a single thing about the mental illness which they are talking about in the story which can be a trigger to those who have suffered or seen someone suffering from it. Furthermore, the writer cannot seem to decide how to narrate the story. The story jumps from "philosophical" to "first point of view" and back again. Moreover, the story seems to be incredibly slow paced in the start but jumps into a confusing, fast paced, unsatisfying mesh in the end leaving the reader confused and scratching their head once they are done reading.

2. The writer says they are borrowing quotes from other books. The story is more like a full on plagiarism, with wierd dialogues and bits in between. The story seems more like a fan girl putting all of her favourite quotes in one book and then mashing them in a single story.

3. This one is not really a reason, more like a off putting thing. Every single review other than mine is 5 stars. Does that not smell fishy to anyone? It seems like nepotism and calling in favours to me.

I hope this convinces anyone who is thinking about buying this book. I am really disappointed at Dastaan for publishing this. I mean, sure this is self published but there is no point is publishing something that seems like it was put together in a hour does it?

Sharp prose. Intriguing. Makes you think. The start with the question of 'who am I' and the build up gave me chills. Great effort on the part of the author, would definitely recommend you pick it up.

A very simple question answered in the most aesthetic way. The writer surely has the potential to lift the curtains of uncertainty from the reader's mind. I loved it!

After reading this I can bet that this author has capabilities to reach the peak of success. Amazingly describing minor details she just has explained everything in it. The best part was the entry of ins e yazdan, and how he has narrated Bulle Shah is just beautiful. Moreover this book has the power to take you in its own world, the repeatability I'm having is just surprising for me. Surely recommending everyone associated with me.
